Academy Story
Reddy’s Cricket Academy was founded in April 14, 1998 and proudly inaugurated by Mr. Ashok Khumbat, Former TNCA Secretary, in the presence of Dr. N. Vijayan, Chairman of Zion Group of Institutions.
The academy’s journey began at Zion Matriculation School, Indira Nagar, with a single branch dedicated to nurturing young cricketers. Under the guidance of Mr. D. S. K. Reddy – Founder, Mentor, and Consultant, the academy has steadily grown in reputation and strength.
From those humble beginnings, Reddy’s Cricket Academy has expanded to 4 branches across South Chennai, becoming a trusted hub for developing cricketing talent. Over the years, it has built a legacy of discipline, teamwork, and professional excellence – inspiring hundreds of young players to dream big.

Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) & State Cricket: We have actively supported the TNPL and contributed to the development and training of the Tamil Nadu State Team.
Local & Grassroots Cricket: Our commitment extends to grassroots development, having successfully organized and hosted numerous Tamil Nadu leagues and district leagues, providing essential competitive platforms for aspiring cricketers.
CSK Promotional Events: We have been a key venue and partner for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) promotional events, bringing the excitement of the IPL closer to the community.
A Hub for Cricket Icons
Our grounds have been privileged to host and serve some of the sport’s most respected names. These facilities have been utilized by both international legends and top domestic players, including:
Iconic Indian Players: Legends such as Rahul Dravid and Dinesh Karthik, alongside celebrated players like Murali Vijay.
International Stars: The facilities have also been used by global cricketing greats, including the spin maestro Muttiah Muralitharan.
IPL and State Players: Many other well-known IPL and state players have visited the grounds and made use of the available state-of-the-art facilities for training and practice
